President and CPA
Terry attended both the University of Texas at Austin and San Antonio. He obtained his bachelor's in business data systems accounting. He earned his CPA License in 1986 and has been in practice ever since.
Terry loves working with his clients. He has over 30 years of experience! He represents individual and business taxpayers with a variety of tax problems. What sets Terry apart is that he has the "heart of a teacher" and always wants his clients to understand their returns rather than just handing it to them to sign.
When Terry isn't helping his clients, he enjoys being with his wife and 3 dogs and if he is lucky taking a nap!
Mark Robert Noel
Vice President and Enrolled Agent
Mark graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration with an accounting emphasis in 1998 and began his tax career with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program in 1999. He then graduated from law school in 2004. Mark became an Enrolled Agent with the IRS in 2013 and has over 20 years of tax experience. He is also a United States Tax Court Practitioner and a Fellow of National Tax Practice Institute. His résumé doesn't stop there, he is also the First Vice President of the Jalapeno Chapter of the Texas Society of Enrolled Agents!
Mark represents individual and business taxpayers with a variety of tax problems including audits, lien and levy, notices, and unfiled returns!
He lives here in San Antonio with his wife and young son and their two
rescue dogs! When he is not working, he is either cheering his son on at soccer or competing in ultra-marathons. He also loves to fly-fish for bass and trout!
Sharla is our expert in all things bookkeeping! She has a BBA with an emphasis in accounting. Sharla has over 30 years of bookkeeping and tax work experience. She has been with Walker + Company for over 22 years! Sharla loves being a mom first, but fell in love with accounting because she likes the challenges that each new project brings her. She performs a variety of services for her clients like payroll, sales tax, and bookkeeping. She also prepares personal and business tax returns.
When Sharla isn’t in the office, she loves spending time with her family, traveling and jet skiing at the lake!
Megan attended the University of Texas at San Antonio for both her bachelor's and master's. In 2017, she obtained her bachelor's in business administration concentration in marketing. She then returned to school and received her master's in accounting with a concentration in tax in 2019. She started with Walker + Company as an intern and has now joined the practice full time. She is currently preparing to sit for the CPA exam.
Megan does a variety of tasks for the office but loves to prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses. She also has years of experience in bookkeeping/payroll and helps Sharla when she can. Megan's favorite thing about accounting is that every project is like a puzzle and loves the relationships she gets to build with the clients.
When she is not working Megan is doing anything outdoors with her husband and their dogs, Remington and Nova!
